Mechanical Associate Director - Building Services Engineering

Salary: -80,000 - -90,000 per annum

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Associate Director to join a leading building services engineering consultancy in London.

The successful Mechanical Associate Director will play a key role in technical leadership, project delivery and stakeholder engagement, working across a diverse portfolio of projects within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Associate Director, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the delivery of mechanical building services projects
- Providing technical oversight of HVAC design, calculations and specifications
- Managing and mentoring engineering teams and project resources
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting business development and work-winning activities
- Overseeing project delivery to meet programme, budget and quality targets
- Coordinating multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical and structural disciplines
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practice
- Supporting the strategic growth of the business and engineering capability
Requirements
To be considered for this Mechanical Associate Director role, candidates should have:
- Proven experience working as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, Associate or Associate Director within building services
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical design principles
- Experience leading projects and engineering teams
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience
- Experience working within consultancy or multidisciplinary engineering environments
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
Desirable:
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status
- Experience delivering large-scale or complex building services projects
- Experience contributing to business development or team growth
