Mechanical Assembly Technician

An exciting opportunity to join an established and growing high-tech manufacturing business is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join its cleanroom team. This is a hands-on role focused on assembling precision UHV systems, offering the chance to work with advanced technology in a specialist environment. Essential Requirements: Experience in a manufacturing or engineering assembly environment Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and instructions Understanding of mechanical assembly and basic electrical work Strong attention to detail and quality standards Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure Basic IT skills (MS Office) Desirable: Experience in cleanroom or high-tech manufacturing environments Knowledge of UHV systems, electron or ion optics Experience in low-volume, high-spec product manufacturing Exposure to precision hand fitting, wiring, and testing processes Qualifications: Level 3 Mechanical Engineering or equivalent HNC/HND or degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering (desirable) Apprenticeship or time-served background considered Recruited UK will make every effort to respond with feedback although this is not always possible.
