Mechanical Assembly Technician

Proactive are currently recruiting for an Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a busy manufacturing and warehouse operation based in Maidenhead, Berkshire.This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with a practical and technical mindset who enjoys assembly, testing and quality-focused work. Full training will be provided, with opportunities to develop your technical skills and take on additional responsibilities. The RoleAs an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling engineered components, carrying out testing and quality checks, and supporting the wider production and warehouse operation.Working as part of a team, you will ensure products are assembled accurately, tested thoroughly and prepared for dispatch in line with company quality, safety and operational standards. Key Responsibilities:Assemble and test a range of engineered components and products.Assemble and modify components in accordance with technical instructions and procedures.Carry out testing on completed assemblies to ensure they meet the required specifications.Test and troubleshoot equipment prior to installation.Complete final quality control checks before products are dispatched.Undertake training on new products, equipment and assembly processes.Work in accordance with ISO 9001 quality standards and company procedures.Follow all company Health and Safety requirements and fire risk management procedures.Wear the required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, masks and other ..... full job details .....
