Mechanical Assembly Technician Beccles 34,000 Permanent A specialist machinery builder is recruiting a mechanical assembler. You''ll build bespoke automation systems for precision sectors. Every machine is different, so you''re working from drawings and schematics, not repeating a standard build. The work: Assemble mechanical components, frames and sub-assemblies to specification. Fit pneumatics and linear motion systems to tolerance. Run pre-commissioning checks and function tests. Fix issues as they arise. Travel to customer sites for installations as and when required, occasionally overseas. What you need: Proven experience as a mechanical fitter or assembler, ideally on automation or special purpose machinery. Comfortable with hand tools, measuring equipment and reading drawings.
