Mechanical Assembly Technician

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Assembly Technician on a permanent basis for a leading manufacturing company based in Ringwood, Hampshire.

Introduction

The primary duties for the Mechanical Assembly Technician-will be to work on and build-mechanical assemblies,-sub-assemblies and finished products to the company''s site procedures and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Mechanical assembly of a range of the sites products
• Working to drawings and instructions
• Reporting engineering issues to the engineering teams
• Ensuring the products are-assembled correctly and within-time schedules,-supporting production demand as required
• When-required to pre test equipment and products to ensure no faults before submitting to the test and inspection teams.
• Assisting in booking of units passed to test / stores and completion of necessary documentation
• Assisting with Fault Finding and Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action events

Ideal Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following or similar:

• 3+ years mechanical production / manufacturing experience
• Basic computer skills including Excel / Outlook
• 5s experience - desirable

-29K - -35K

Monday to Friday
