We are delighted to be recruiting two permanent roles based within a well established, successful company with a friendly working environment.

Mechanical Assembly Operative - Key Duties:

The position reports to the Production Manager and the key responsibilities / required skills are as follows:

Job Purpose Summary

-Assembling components to create sub-assemblies

-Building and testing of a range of different components, working to a high level of detail

Working with small components - a strong attention to detail and high level of manual dexterity is required

-Completion of Test Certificates and Packing Sheets as necessary

Have a keen interest in mechanical / electrical works

Fitting a small amount of pre made cables

Essential Skills Base

-Good experience gained as a mechanical Assembly Operative is ESSENTIAL

-Electrical experience would be a bonus

-Able to carry out some manual handling tasks

-Able to handle small components

-Flexible and enthusiastic attitude

-A good team player

Core responsibilities of the role:

-Assembling components to create sub-assemblies

-Building and testing of a range of different components, working to a high level of detail

-Completion of Test Certificates and Packing Sheets as necessary

We welcome applications from those with relevant experience and a positive, flexible approach. The roles are day shift only and involve no weekends. Please note though that we do require a minimum of 6 months recent mechanical assembly experience. Thank you.
