Mechanical AssemblerHours Monday Friday (non-shift)Full benefits package inclusiubg 25 days holiday 8 bank holidays pension health Insurance Fantastic opportunity to join an established manufacturing business with a strong order book in a varied role with ongoing training and development.You will ideally have some previous experience of mechanical assembly in a production environment or be looking to further develop your skills if you have good experience of using hand tools and enjoy taking things apart and re-building.What you ll be doing:Assembling and testing a range of mechanical and electromechanical productsThis will encompass using a range of hand tools The ability to follow written instructions, ideally with the ability to read engineering drawingsFollow safe working practices at all timesWhat you ll need:Mechanical assembly experience or mechanical aptitude with the ability to learnAttention to detail and ability to follow written instructions, but also the ability to problem solve and use your own initiativePhysically fit as there will be a degree of lifting (with lifting aids), and you will often be on your feetWilling to train across products and learn new skillsAble to communicate effectivelyAbility to safely use power and hand toolsThe ability to read engineering drawings would be ideal Other Information:Full-time, 40 hours per weekOvertime available ..... full job details .....
