Bench Assembler / Finishing Operative

Location: Norfolk 
Salary: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (40 hours)
Overtime: Available

The Company

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established composites manufacturer based in Norfolk, supplying high-quality products across the marine, aerospace, and automotive sectors.

This is a small, growing business with a strong reputation for quality and exciting expansion plans — offering long-term stability and a friendly, hands-on working environment.

The Role

This is a hands-on role focused on the final assembly and finishing of composite products before dispatch.

You’ll be working at the bench, ensuring components are completed to a high standard and ready for delivery.

Key responsibilities:

• Assembling components using nuts, bolts, fixings, and fittings
• Drilling holes and preparing parts for final assembly
• Basic finishing and preparation work on GRP products
• Packing finished items, including protective wrapping (bubble wrap, etc.)
• Checking products for quality and completeness before dispatch
• Supporting the wider production team as required

What We’re Looking For

• Mechanically minded with good hands-on skills
• Experience in assembly, production, or workshop environments
• Confident using hand tools and basic power tools
• Good attention to detail and pride in your work
• Reliable, team-focused, and willing to get stuck in
