Job Description:

First Achieve''s Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Assembly Fitter to join an established and growing company in the North/East Greater Glasgow region. Our client is an international manufacturer, dedicated to Marine products world-wide.

What''s on Offer:

• Temp (probation) to perm after 12 weeks
• Paying -16 per hour while under temp (probation) through agency
• Paying circa -14 per hour once permanent
• 39hr work week
• 4.5 day work week
• 7am to 4pm Mon to Thurs and 7am to 12pm Fri
• OT 1.5x

This role will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and you will be expected to work as part of a collaborative team of operatives in ensuring the efficient and continual, management and organisation, of products on the premise.

Duties will involve the following:

• assembly of mechanical components on a workbench
• reading design and assembly drawings
• making use of power tool

Essential skills, experience and knowledge:

The successful candidate must have:

• experience of mechanical assembly
• experience of reading engineering drawings
