Mechanical Assembler / Fitter - Temp to Perm opportunity with an immediate start
Corby | -14.00 15.00 per hour | Mon-Thu 7:30-4:30, Fri 7:30-12:30 with plenty of overtime available. Permanent position for the right candidate

The Role

• To carry out heavy assembly work - sometimes in confined spaces
• Use a variety of hand and power tools to meet production deadlines
• Check quality at every stage, raising any issues before products move forward
• Complete all relevant paperwork & inspection records
• Keep your work area safe, tidy, and compliant with Health & Safety standards

Experience and Skills

• Have previously worked as a mechanical assembler or mechanical fitter
• Be able to read from diagrams and drawings.
• Positive, proactive, and comfortable working to schedules
• Be mechanically minded
• Passionate about producing top-quality work
• Reliable, flexible, and keen to learn new skills
• Experience with hand & power tools is essential
• Have a genuine interest in mechanical engineering
• Be happy with heavy lifting.
