Rotating weeklyImmediate Start AvailableWe are recruiting for a Mechanical Assembly / Strip and Clean Operatives to join a leading engineering and manufacturing company within the rail industry.This is a hands-on, physical role working in a dirty and noisy workshop environment, stripping down, cleaning, and refurbishing brake calipers and related components.This role is ideal for candidates with mechanical, assembly, production, manufacturing, or hands-on experience, as well as those with a strong work ethic looking to develop technical skills. Full training is provided.Key Duties:Stripping down brake calipers and mechanical componentsCleaning and refurbishing parts ready for reassemblyUsing hand tools to dismantle and rebuild unitsInspecting components for wear and defectsWorking in a busy production workshop environmentSkills and Experience:Mechanical, assembly, or manufacturing experience preferredExperience using hand tools (spanners, torque wrenches, etc.)Ability to follow instructions and processesGood attention to detailComfortable working in a dirty / noisy workshop environmentConfident using hand toolsThis role would suit candidates with experience as:Mechanical Assembly OperativeMechanical Fitter / AssemblerVehicle Mechanic or Vehicle TechnicianMotor MechanicEngineering ..... full job details .....
