Ivy Resource Group are currently recruiting for an Mechanical and Plumbing Estimator for one of the leading MandE contractors in the region, to join their company on a permanent basis in Gloucester. The company:Our client offers MandE installation, maintenance and design services in Gloucestershire and the surrounding counties. They operate across domestic, commercial and industrial sectors and are looking to hire an experienced Mechanical and Plumbing Estimator to accomodate their growth plans. The role entails:Managing tenders from inception to submission.Dealing with project values of up to 1MThe ideal candidate must be able to understand and read through specifications and drawings provided.The role shall include estimating projects from various different sectors including commercial, education, healthcare and industrial. Requirements:Minimum of 3 years construction estimating experienceThorough and efficient supplier and subcontractor knowledgeUnderstanding of associated mechanical servicesKnowledge of construction industry standards, practices, and materialsStrong analytical skills and attention to detailGood communication and negotiation skillsProfessionally qualified preferably construction related or equivalent proven ability and experience in similar roleProficient computer skills, with experience of Estimation software issuing / updating tender documents via an electronic control system Benefits and salary 50,000 + 5000 per year car allowanceWorking for a ..... full job details .....
