Job Title: Mechanical and Electrical Technician Location: Maple Lodge STW - WD3Employment type: Permanent Job profile:We are currently looking for a Mechanical and Electrical Technician to work in the Water Division based at Maple Lodge STW. You will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, testing, installing, modifying or repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.Working Pattern: 38 Hours Monday- Friday 7:30 am - 3:30 pm. Plus, standby and overtime opportunities Key Responsibilities:Carrying out planned maintenance work on mechanical and electrical equipment to minimise plant breakdowns.Investigating plant failures and executing repairs efficiently to avoid interruptions to the process. Providing technical advice and supportJob Requirements:Previous experience working on the following equipment: pumps and associated control gear, 3-phase motors, starters and controls, electronic control systems such as VSDs, automatic valves and penstocks, flow, level and pressure measurement, programmable logic controllers, variable speed drives and controls, chemical handling and dosing equipment.Knowledge and awareness of health and safety issuesPhysical fitness for work in confined spaces, with appropriate trainingValid driving licenceIf you are a multi-skilled technician looking for a new opportunity to contribute to essential services in the water industry, apply now to join our client''s team at Maple Lodge STW. ..... full job details .....
