This is a great opportunity to work within a small team that has recently won several new contracts. This is a hands-on role involving the mechanical build, electrical assembly, pneumatic assembly and testing of machinery and equipment. You will work from engineering drawings and wiring diagrams through to completed, tested assemblies.Key Responsibilities: Mechanical and electrical assembly and fault findingBasic electrical wiring and terminationReading mechanical and electrical drawingsPneumatic assembly and equipment testingInspection, adjustment and functional testingSafe use of hand tools, power tools and test equipmentMaintaining a safe and organised workshop The Ideal Candidate: Previous mechanical/electrical fitting or engineering experienceAble to read engineering drawings and wiring diagramsEngineering qualification such as NVQ or City and Guilds desirableManufacturing or engineering background preferredPractical, reliable and self-motivatedGood attention to detail and safety awarenessFlexible approach and willingness to ..... full job details .....
