Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Lecturer

Our client is a leading engineering training provider delivering Level 3, Level 4 and Level 5 apprenticeships, higher education and professional development programmes. They are seeking a permanent Engineering Lecturer to join their Hull training centre, with travel to sites in Grimsby and Scunthorpe. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanical engineering professional to inspire and develop the next generation of engineers.Key Responsibilities:Deliver engaging, technically focused training to apprentices and adult learnersTeach subjects including engineering design, engineering mathematics and mechanical principlesProvide instruction in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, electrical and electronic principlesSupport learning in automation, robotics, programmable logic controllers and production engineeringDevelop learners'' understanding of quality, process improvement and practical engineering applicationsPrepare learning materials, assess progress and provide constructive feedbackSupport learners in achieving their academic, technical and career objectivesTravel between the Hull, Grimsby and Scunthorpe training centres as requiredJob Requirements:A degree in mechanical engineering, engineering or a related disciplineSignificant experience in mechanical engineering or a relevant engineering industry environmentStrong technical, IT and engineering problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of engineering design, mathematics, mechanical principles and production ..... full job details .....
