Mechanical and Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical and Electrical (MandE) Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join our facilities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of building services, plant, equipment and associated infrastructure, ensuring systems remain safe, reliable, compliant and operational. The role will involve a combination of mechanical and electrical maintenance, fault finding, preventative maintenance, contractor management and general facilities support. Key Responsibilities Mechanical Maintenance Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical building services. Maintain and inspect HVAC systems, pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs, boilers, chillers and associated equipment. Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs where competent to do so. Monitor heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and water systems. Complete routine inspections and identify potential equipment failures or maintenance requirements. Assist with energy-efficiency initiatives and optimisation of mechanical systems. Electrical Maintenance Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance within the limits of relevant qualifications and authorisations. Diagnose electrical faults and undertake repairs and replacements where appropriately qualified.
