Mechanical & Pump Service Engineer

Are you an experienced Pump or Mechanical Engineer looking for a varied, hands-on role with excellent overtime opportunities?

We''re recruiting for a skilled Engineer to carry out service, maintenance, overhaul and repair work on pumps, motors and rotating equipment across the local area, typically within a 50-mile radius.

The Role

- Service, repair and overhaul pumps, motors, fans and rotating equipment

- Replace bearings, mechanical seals and complete units

- Maintain sewage pumping stations and associated equipment

- Fault-find on mechanical and electrical systems

- Work directly with customers and site representatives

- Occasional working at height and in confined spaces, training provided for this

- Overtime and call-out available at premium rates

You''ll Have

• 5+ years'' pump overhaul experience
• 5+ years'' motor overhaul experience
• Good knowledge of pumps, motors, inverters and electrical systems
• Understanding of electrical panels and controls
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Comfortable travelling locally and working on customer sites
