Our client, an award-winning specialist in the design and manufacture of commercial livestock vehicles, is seeking a dedicated Mechanic to join their dynamic team. Position Overview: As a Mechanic, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the maintenance and installation of hydraulic and mechanical components in custom-built vehicles. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is meticulous, attentive, and eager to take on responsibilities with precision and a strong sense of ownership. Key Responsibilities:Assist in the maintenance and installation of hydraulic and mechanical components for our bespoke vehicles.Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic system issues, ensuring safety and efficiency.Collaborate closely with senior mechanics and production teams to implement reliable solutions.Take detailed notes, follow instructions diligently, and execute tasks with precision.Develop skills in reading technical drawings and hydraulic schematics for accurate assembly.Maintain meticulous records of all tasks performed.Pipe commercial trailers and repair/assemble new trailers.Assemble pulley systems and carry out hydraulic testing.
