Mechanic - Technician

A major Commercial Vehicle manufacturer is looking for a number of Mechanics - Technicians for their extremely busy commercial vehicle workshop. Must possess a mechanical or technician background in any of the following: Commercial vehicles, plant, vans, cars, agricultural, construction, armed forces or any other kind of vehicles and either have experience of IRTEC, BTEC or City and Guilds qualifications or similar. Full training provided. ROLE: Mechanic - technicians LOCATION: Reding BASIC SALARY: 20 to 24 per hour depending upon experience SHIFTS: 6am to 2:30pm, 7am to 3:30pm or 1pm to 10pm, lots of overtime available if wanted OVERTIME: Lots available BENEFITS: 25 days holiday, 1 x Life Assurance, Company Pensions contribution of up to 5%, Private Medical Insurance, Bonus, incentives and commission schemes, Further Education Assistance ROLE: Please note if you do not have HGV mechanic or technicians experience you will be trained to do everything below: As an HGV Technician you are responsible for the maintenance, service, and repair of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs). You ensure that all vehicles are maintained to a high safety and performance standard, identifying and repairing any mechanical or electrical issues.
