Vehicle Technician / Mechanic (Level 3)Location: WantageSalary: £30,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pmOverviewWe are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Level 3 Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a well-established and busy workshop in Wantage. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking to work in a professional, supportive environment with a strong pipeline of work.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out a wide range of mechanical and diagnostic work on various makes and modelsPerform major vehicle repairs, including: ClutchesCambelts / timing chainsConduct routine servicing, maintenance, and inspectionsDiagnose faults using appropriate tools and equipmentEnsure all work is completed to a high standard and within allocated timeframesMaintain accurate job records and complete relevant documentationWork in compliance with health and safety regulations and workshop proceduresCommunicate effectively with colleagues and, where required, customersRequirementsNVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and RepairProven experience as a Vehicle Technician / MechanicStrong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnosticsExperience carrying out clutches and cambelts is highly desirableAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamFull UK driving licenceDesirable (Not Essential)Qualified MOT TesterExperience with a variety of vehicle brands (including modern and older ..... full job details .....
