Job Title: Mechanic (Light Commercial Vehicles) Location: Near Attleborough Salary: £40,000 Per annum (negotiable for the right person) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday - 8.00am to 4.30pm Overtime: Available, but not regular Hales Group are recruiting for a leading vehicle repair and fleet solutions business, delivering high-quality repair, maintenance and accident management services to commercial and private vehicle customers. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Light Commercial Vehicle Mechanic to join their skilled workshop team. The Role As a Light Commercial Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of light commercial vehicles (LCVs), ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality and efficiency. You will play a key role in keeping customer fleets and vehicles operational while supporting the wider workshop team. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on light commercial vehicles. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment. Complete repairs on engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension and steering components. Conduct vehicle inspections and identify defects or additional repair requirements. Perform preventative maintenance to minimise vehicle downtime. Remove, replace and repair mechanical components in line with manufacturer specifications. Undertake ..... full job details .....
