Meat Production Operative

Are you looking for full-time work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment? We are currently recruiting Meat Production Operatives to join our team based at our busy site on the Kellythorpe Industrial Estate in Driffield. Due to the location of the site, you will need to have your own transport. This is a full-time role working fixed shifts and the hours of work are: - Days: 6:00am to 6:00pm - Nights: 6:00pm to 2:00am Overtime available on Sundays. The rate of pay is: - Day Shift: £12.71 per hour - Night Shift: £13.50 per hour - Overtime (after 50 hours): £15.88 per hour Your Time at Work As a Meat Production Operative your duties include: - Working on production lines handling raw and cooked meat products - Cutting, trimming, weighing, and packing meat - Operating machinery (full training provided) - Manual handling and lifting - Cleaning down work areas and equipment - Ensuring hygiene and food safety standards are maintained - Working in chilled environments - Following health and safety procedures at all times - Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets Our Perfect Worker Our perfect worker will have full-time availability and be comfortable working with both raw and cooked meat in chilled conditions. Applicants will have a good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the work and be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
