Measurement Room SpecialistSalary: £46,587.88 (inclusive of 35% holiday bonus for 33 days per year, 25 vacation and 8 bank holidays)Contract: PermanentHours: Flexibility to work shift patterns aligned to business requirementsAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Measurement Room Specialist to join the plant Quality Department, supporting both the metrology and metallurgical laboratories.In this role, you will be responsible for measuring and inspecting internally manufactured and externally supplied components, helping to ensure they meet the required quality and engineering standards.You will work closely with a range of teams across the business, including engineering, production, maintenance and management, supporting projects and services within an advanced automotive manufacturing environment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a site that is transforming towards the manufacture of electric vehicle powertrain technology.What You''ll Be DoingYour responsibilities will include:Supporting the commissioning and introduction of new measurement equipment.Measuring internal and externally purchased components using laboratory equipment.Producing accurate measurement reports for inspected components.Supporting quality investigations by providing measurement and technical support.Assisting with the development of test methods and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure tasks are completed in line with business ..... full job details .....
