Measurement and Technical Compliance EngineerGlasgow First People Solutions is working with a leading consulting engineering who are looking to recruit a Measurement and Technical Compliance Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a specialist team providing technical, commercial and compliance assurance across major roads and infrastructure programmes. The RoleThe role combines site and office-based auditing, monitoring and verification, ensuring works, measured quantities and contractor records comply with contractual requirements, processes and standards. Role: Auditing and monitoring on-site works and associated recordsReviewing and verifying suppliers'' payment requests and measured quantitiesProviding technical information to support responses to disputed contractual issuesAssessing works against contracts, processes and relevant standardsDeveloping a strong understanding of relevant supplier contracts and requirements About You: Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with strong experienceWorking towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Incorporated Engineer (IEng)3+ years of experience working within a consultancy, client-side or contractor environment, with a background in roads, highways or wider infrastructure projectsExperience in measurement, technical compliance, auditing or contract monitoringGood knowledge of roads construction, maintenance and managementExperience assessing and verifying works against contracts and ..... full job details .....
