M&E Design Manager

As the MandE Design Manager at Primech Building Services, you will lead and oversee the mechanical and electrical design aspects of various engineering projects. Your role will involve ensuring that all designs meet company standards, client requirements, and relevant regulations. You will manage a team of engineers and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the MandE design team through all project phases, from concept to completionDevelop and implement design strategies that align with project objectives and sustainability goalsConduct design reviews, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance with standards, and quality assuranceCoordinate with project managers, architects, and clients to understand requirements and provide innovative design solutionsMonitor project progress and provide mentorship to team members, facilitating professional growth and developmentManage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful deliveryStay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to improve design processes and practicesPrepare and present design proposals and project updates to clients and stakeholdersRequirements

Bachelor\''s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering or equivalentProven experience in a managerial role within the MandE design sectorStrong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and design practicesExceptional leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaborationProficiency in design software, such as Revit, AutoCAD, and relevant calculation toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesKnowledge of current building regulations and industry standardsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyFull UK driver\''s licenseBenefits
