Mazak Integrex Programmer / Operator

The Opportunity

Mazco Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering manufacturer in Gloucester for an experienced Mazak Integrex Programmer/Operator.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern machine shop producing high-quality precision components for a variety of industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating advanced Mazak machinery while ensuring components are manufactured to specification and quality standards.

Machines

• Mazak Integrex Horizontal Lathe
• Mazak Quick Turn Nexus 250MY-2

Key Responsibilities

• Programming, setting, and operating Mazak CNC machines
• Creating and editing programs using Mazatrol
• Producing precision components to engineering drawings and specifications
• Performing first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
• Selecting and setting tooling and workholding equipment
• Optimising cycle times and improving manufacturing processes
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

• Proven experience programming and operating Mazak Integrex machines
• Strong knowledge of Mazatrol programming
• Experience with Mazak Quick Turn Nexus machines advantageous
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience working to tight tolerances
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
