The project involves the technical upgrade of an existing Maximo 7.6 environment running on Oracle to Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 9.x running on DB2, hosted in Azure Cloud. This is primarily a technical lift-and-shift migration and upgrade, involving the migration of existing Maximo designs and configurations into MAS 9.x, together with the technical changes and remediation required as part of the upgrade. Key Responsibilities Lead and support Oracle-to-DB2 database migration activities. Perform DB2 database administration, configuration and tuning. Install and configure DB2 environments across the required infrastructure. Develop and implement database backup and recovery strategies. Perform database performance optimisation for Maximo Application Suite (MAS). Support database security, access controls and compliance requirements.
