Location: Wokingham and surrounding areasSubject: MathsPhase: Primary / SecondaryWorking arrangement: In-person, Term Time only Quantum Scholars is looking for a supportive, patient and experienced Maths Tutor to work with children and young people in Wokingham and the surrounding areas.This is an in-person tutoring role and is not online work. The successful tutor will provide personalised Maths tuition to students who may benefit from additional one-to-one support outside of a traditional classroom environment.The role will involve building positive and trusting relationships with students, identifying areas for development and adapting lessons to suit individual learning needs. You will help students improve their mathematical understanding, confidence and engagement with learning.We are looking for tutors who are passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and who can provide a calm, consistent and encouraging approach.The role may involveDelivering one-to-one Maths tuition to primary and/or secondary-aged studentsSupporting students to develop their mathematical knowledge and understandingIdentifying gaps in learning and planning lessons around individual needsAdapting teaching approaches to suit different abilities, learning styles and levels of engagementSupporting students with exam preparation and curriculum-based learning where appropriateBuilding positive, consistent and trusting relationships with studentsHelping students develop ..... full job details .....
