We''re looking for a Maths Tutor to provide 1:1 support to children and young people across Bournemouth and the surrounding areas.

Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you''ll support learners who require alternative educational provision and a more tailored approach to learning. Students may be working at a range of levels, from primary through to GCSE, and often benefit from dedicated support that helps improve confidence, strengthen mathematical understanding, and increase engagement with education.

This is a flexible opportunity for education professionals who enjoy adapting their teaching style to meet individual needs and seeing the direct impact of their support.

• Pay Rate: -2530 per hour

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months'' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, learning support, mentoring, or similar roles
• Strong Maths subject knowledge
• Ability to deliver engaging and personalised sessions
• Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Patient, adaptable, and encouraging approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally around Bournemouth and surrounding areas
