We''re looking for a Maths Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to children and young people across West Sussex.

Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you''ll support learners who require alternative educational provision, helping them strengthen their mathematical understanding, improve confidence, and make meaningful progress. Students may be of varying ages and abilities, requiring a flexible and individualised approach to learning.

We''re particularly interested in tutors who can support learners in:

• Crawley
• Worthing
• Horsham
• Chichester
• Bognor Regis
• Littlehampton

Location: West Sussex

Hours: Flexible

Pay Rate: -2530 per hour

Type: 1:1 Tuition

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years'' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, learning support, mentoring, or similar roles
• Strong Maths subject knowledge
• Ability to deliver engaging and personalised sessions
• Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Patient, adaptable, and encouraging approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally within West Sussex

• EHCPs and additional educational needs
