Job Title: Teacher of Maths
Location: Lewisham, London
Salary: MPS/UPS (Classroom Teachers'' Pay Scale)
Contract: Full-time (STPCD)

A secondary school in Lewisham is seeking a Teacher of Maths to deliver high-quality teaching and support strong pupil outcomes. You will join a supportive department committed to high standards, progress, and engaging learning.

To provide high-quality teaching and ensure pupils achieve well in a safe, supportive, and challenging learning environment, in line with STPCD.

• Teach Maths classes as allocated
• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons
• Set and mark homework regularly
• Track, assess, and report on pupil progress
• Support behaviour and attendance standards
• Contribute to curriculum planning and schemes of work
• Attend meetings and parents'' evenings
• Support pupils with additional needs
• Act as a Form Tutor
• Contribute to enrichment and extra-curricular activities
• Work as directed by the Headteacher

• QTS or equivalent
• Strong Maths subject knowledge
• Ability to teach effectively across abilities
• Commitment to high standards and student progress
• Good classroom management skills
• Team player with strong communication skills
