Tradewind Education is currently recruiting for a Maths Teacher to provide full-time cover at a welcoming secondary school in Southport for approximately two weeks, while a member of staff is away on jury service. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced teacher, ECT or qualified teacher looking for a short-term role with an immediate start. The Role As a Maths Teacher, you will: Teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4. Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons. Follow existing schemes of work and lesson plans where provided. Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment. Assess pupil understanding and provide appropriate feedback. Work collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school team. Ensure continuity of learning throughout the short-term absence. The Ideal Candidate The school is looking for a Maths Teacher who: Holds QTS or equivalent teaching status. Has experience teaching Maths within a secondary school. Is confident teaching across KS3 and KS4. Has strong classroom management skills. Can quickly establish positive relationships with pupils.
