The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Sandwell from October 2026 on a full-time, long-term supply basis.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons, supporting students to develop their mathematical knowledge, understanding, fluency and problem-solving skills.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering effective lessons, assessing student progress and maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will:

Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
Have experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting
Deliver engaging and appropriately challenging lessons
Demonstrate effective classroom management skills
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners
Be organised, reliable and committed to supporting student progress
Build positive and professional relationships with students and colleagues
