The Role
A Good Ofsted-rated secondary school in Sandwell is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join its mathematics department from September 2026 on a full-time, long-term supply basis.
The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that develop students’ mathematical knowledge, confidence, reasoning, and problem-solving skills. You will support students in making strong progress while preparing them for their GCSE Maths qualifications.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You will uphold high expectations for behaviour and achievement while encouraging students to develop a genuine interest in Mathematics.
The Candidate
  • Hold QTS or be an ECT
  • Have experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
  • Be confident delivering the full secondary Maths curriculum
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Be committed to supporting student progress and raising attainment
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have a genuine passion for Mathematics and inspiring young people
