About the Role

This full-time, temporary supply role offers a daily rate between £175 and £250. The successful candidate will deliver Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, focusing on numeracy, algebra, reasoning, and problem-solving. The Role
An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Worcestershire is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their department from September 2026 on a full-time supply basis.
The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and well-planned lessons that develop students’ confidence in numeracy, algebra, reasoning, and problem-solving. You will play a key role in supporting pupils as they work towards their GCSE Mathematics qualifications, ensuring strong progress and attainment across a range of abilities.
As a full-time member of the department, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will contribute to a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to reach their full potential.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
  • Hold QTS or be an ECT
  • Have experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and KS4
  • Be confident delivering GCSE Maths content
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Be committed to supporting pupil progress and raising attainment
  • Have a positive, engaging, and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
