The Role
An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join its Mathematics department from September 2026 on a supply basis.
The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that develop students’ confidence in numeracy, algebra, geometry, statistics, reasoning, and problem-solving. You will support students in preparing for their GCSE Mathematics examinations while encouraging a positive and resilient approach to learning.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You will uphold high expectations for behaviour and achievement while encouraging students to develop confidence and reach their full potential.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS or be an ECT
• Have experience teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4
• Be confident delivering the GCSE Maths curriculum
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Be committed to supporting student progress and raising attainment
• Have a positive, engaging, and adaptable approach to teaching
