Special Needs Maths Teacher SEMH Location: SurreyStart Date: Immediate StartContract: Full-time, Long-termSalary: £180 £250 per day, depending on experienceAre you a qualified Maths Teacher with experience supporting pupils with SEMH and additional needs?Can you deliver engaging Maths lessons while adapting your teaching to meet individual learning and behavioural needs?Are you passionate about helping young people re-engage with education and achieve their potential?TeacherActive is proud to be recruiting for a Special Needs Maths Teacher to join a specialist SEMH school based in Surrey.The school supports young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, with pupils potentially presenting additional needs including Autism, ADHD, anxiety, trauma and challenging behaviour.As the Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and accessible Maths lessons, adapting the curriculum to meet a range of individual needs and abilities. You will work closely with teaching assistants, pastoral staff and other professionals to create a structured, supportive and positive learning environment.The successful Maths Teacher will ideally have: QTS / QTLS or a relevant recognised teaching qualificationStrong knowledge and experience of teaching MathsExperience working within SEND, SEMH, Alternative Provision or PRU settings is highly desirableStrong behaviour and classroom management skillsThe ability to differentiate lessons for pupils working at different ..... full job details .....
