Key Responsibilities:

  Plan, deliver, and assess engaging maths lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4 students.

  Adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring everyone can engage with the material and progress at their own pace.

  
  



• 
  

  Create a classroom environment where students feel comfortable participating and confident in their abilities.

  
  



• 
  

  Set and mark homework in line with school policies, providing constructive feedback to help students improve.

  
  



• 
  

  Manage classroom behaviour in a positive and respectful way, while fostering an environment of mutual respect and learning.

  
  



• 
  

  Contribute to the development of teaching resources and schemes of work within the department.

  
  



• 
  

  Prepare students for their GCSE exams, offering targeted revision and support where needed.

  
  



• 
  

  Work closely with your colleagues to maintain high teaching standards and share ideas and strategies.

  Keep track of student progress and provide regular updates to both parents and senior leadership.

  Attend staff meetings and participate in school events, helping contribute to the wider school community.
