We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Winslow. This full-time role is perfect for a teacher who is enthusiastic about inspiring students to engage with mathematics and thrive academically within a supportive and forward-thinking learning environment.
About the Role:
- Design and deliver engaging, differentiated maths lessons tailored to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and enthusiasm for mathematics.
- Track and evaluate student progress, offering constructive feedback to support their mathematical growth.
- Promote analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence among all students.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a consistent and effective approach to teaching within the maths department.
- Support extracurricular initiatives, including maths clubs, competitions, and academic events.
The ideal candidate will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialisation in Mathematics.
- Previous experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level is preferred.
- Strong subject expertise combined with a genuine passion for mathematics and teaching.
- Excellent communication skills and effective classroom management abilities.
- Dedicated to creating a positive learning environment that promotes student achievement.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to cultivate a lasting interest in mathematics.
