Supply Desk is working alongside a respected and supportive secondary school in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, who are seeking an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team from September.

This role is well suited to a Maths specialist who is passionate about building confidence, resilience, and strong problem-solving skills in young people.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students in developing both fluency and reasoning while working towards strong GCSE outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE)
• Planning well-structured lessons that stretch and support learners
• Developing pupils’ problem-solving and numeracy skills
• Monitoring progress and providing clear, constructive feedback
• Adapting teaching approaches to meet a range of abilities
• Supporting exam preparation and assessment readiness
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement
• Working collaboratively within the Maths department
• Communicating effectively with parents, carers, and pastoral staff

We welcome applications from Maths teachers who can demonstrate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
• ECTs encouraged to apply with relevant placements
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Mathematics
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• An organised, adaptable, and proactive teaching style
• Availability to start in September
• Ability to commute to Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire

• Pay in line with MPS/UPS, dependent on experience
