We are looking for a passionate and committed Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Slough, Berkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator or a newly qualified teacherandnbsp;looking to inspire and support students in their academic journey. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team with excellent facilities, dedicated to fostering a vibrant and motivating learning culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deliver, and assess engaging Maths lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Ensure adapted lessons to suit diverse learning styles and abilities, ensuring continuous academic progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a supportive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Engage in departmental meetings, training sessions, and school events.
- Aid the enhancement of the Maths curriculum and contribute to extra-curricular initiatives and activities.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or a degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching Mathematics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to inspire and motivate learners across a range of abilities.
- Commitment to delivering high standards of teaching, learning, and student outcomes.
- Organised, proactive, and adaptable to change in a dynamic educational environment.
