We are seeking an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the Portsmouth area.

This long-term opportunity is ideal for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop within a welcoming and ambitious school environment.

You will play a key role in helping students build confidence, resilience and strong mathematical understanding.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Supporting students of varying abilities
• Creating a positive and purposeful learning environment
• Monitoring progress and providing targeted support
• Encouraging confidence and problem-solving skills
• Upholding high standards of behaviour and learning

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge in Maths
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Passion for raising attainment and engagement
• Adaptable and proactive approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
