We are currently seeking a passionate and committed Maths Teacherandnbsp;to join a well-respected secondary school in Aylesburyandnbsp;from September. This long-term roleandnbsp;involves teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The school is looking for an enthusiastic and engaging educatorandnbsp;who can inspire students, deliver high-quality lessons, and foster a strong understanding and appreciation of Maths.
About the Role
The successful candidate will begin in October 2025andnbsp;and will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons to students aged 11andndash;16, covering both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This role is initially offered until July 2026, with the potential to progress to a permanent positionandnbsp;thereafter.
The ideal candidate will:
- Recent experienceandnbsp;teaching Mathematics in UK secondary schools
- A confident and effective classroom practitionerandnbsp;with a strong subject knowledge in Maths
- Passionate about delivering engaging and accessible lessonsandnbsp;that support learners of all abilities
- Demonstrates strong classroom management skillsandnbsp;and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment
- A collaborative team player, able to work effectively within the Maths department
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)andnbsp;or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
