A dynamic and well-regarded secondary school in Amersham is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their supportive and progressive department. This is a great opportunity to inspire students, cultivate a passion for mathematics, and drive strong outcomes across Key Stages 3 and 4.
About the Role:
- Design and deliver engaging Maths lessons that are differentiated to support the diverse needs of all learners.
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations, ensuring they make strong progress and achieve their full potential.
- Utilise assessment data to inform instruction and implement targeted interventions where needed.
- Contribute to curriculum development, departmental planning, and extracurricular enrichment activities.
- Foster positive and effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to enhance learning outcomes.
The ideal candidate will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently in the process of obtaining it.
- Solid subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4; Key Stage 5 experience is an advantage.
- Ability to engage, inspire, and motivate learners across a range of abilities.
- Dedicated to inclusive education and maintaining high academic and behavioural standards.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
