Maths TeacherImmediate Start Temporary to Permanent or Permanent Full-TimeA specialist independent school in Stockport is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join their dedicated team on an immediate basis.This is an exciting opportunity for a Maths Teacher who is passionate about supporting young people with SEND, autism and SEMH needs and wants to make a genuine difference to pupils who may have experienced challenges within mainstream education.The RoleAs a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and accessible Maths lessons to pupils aged 11-16, adapting your teaching to meet individual needs and helping students build confidence in their learning.You will:Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons.Adapt teaching and learning to meet individual SEND and SEMH needs.Support pupils to make progress against their individual learning outcomes.Create a positive, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.Develop positive relationships with pupils and help build their confidence and self-esteem.Work closely with teaching and therapeutic staff to support pupils holistically.Contribute to assessment, tracking and curriculum development.Help prepare pupils for future education, employment and independent living.The SchoolThe school is a specialist therapeutic setting supporting pupils with autism and SEMH needs, alongside associated needs including ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, anxiety and gaps in prior learning.The ..... full job details .....
