Maths Teacher (Secondary School)

We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in Leicester.

This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2026. The school is looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging and high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear feedback
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Support students of varying abilities, including those with additional needs
• Contribute to departmental planning and school development

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• PGCE or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate students

Desirable:

• Experience teaching KS5 / A-Level Maths
• Experience working in diverse or challenging school environments
