Maths Teacher Annual Salary: Paid to scaleLocation: Bedford, MK44Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join school in Bedford. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about teaching Maths and also comfortable with teaching an additional subject, specifically Physical Education (PE). This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about education and looking for an immediate start. Day-to-day of the role: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons that cater to the needs for KS2 - KS5 students (low level working ages).Incorporate different teaching methods to facilitate learning and cater to a diverse student body.Assess and record students'' progress and provide grades and feedback.Maintain discipline in accordance with the school rules and disciplinary systems.Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders and participate in regular meetings.Take on additional duties, such as supporting extracurricular activities or taking on pastoral responsibilities, if required. Required Skills and Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred but can accept unqualified if you have experience in covering lessons etc.Experience in teaching Maths at secondary school level.Ability to teach an additional subject, specifically PE.Strong organisational and communication skills.Commitment to professional development and continuous learning. ..... full job details .....
