Hours: Full-time / Long-Term

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming school in Sheffield.

The successful candidate will inspire students to develop their mathematical knowledge, confidence and problem-solving skills through engaging and challenging lessons. You will play an important role in supporting students' academic progress and helping them achieve their full potential.

The Role:

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across the relevant age groups.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs and abilities of all students.
• Monitor, assess and track student progress.
• Encourage positive attitudes towards Mathematics and learning.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.

About You:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
• Previous experience teaching Mathematics is desirable.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Passionate about supporting students and raising achievement.
• Reliable, organised and committed to high-quality teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
