Maths Teacher

The school caters for students aged 11-18 and is committed to providing a broad and engaging curriculum.

The role:

• Teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5
• Planning and delivering engaging, challenging, and well-structured lessons
• Supporting students to develop mathematical confidence and problem-solving skills
• Assessing, monitoring, and tracking student progress
• Working collaboratively within a successful Maths department to raise attainment and achievement

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary setting
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject
• Be an effective classroom practitioner with excellent behaviour management skills
• Be committed to helping students achieve their full potential
• Be enthusiastic, organised, and dedicated to high standards of teaching and learning
