We are working with a well-regarded Secondary School in Upminster, rated GOOD by Ofsted, that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join its successful Mathematics department. This Upminster school is committed to delivering high-quality education, inspiring a love of learning and ensuring every student is supported to achieve their full academic potential.

Job Overview:

• This school caters for students aged 11-16.
• Full-time, Monday - Friday, Maths Teacher role.
• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and differentiated Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Inspire students to develop strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills while building confidence in Mathematics.
• Assess, monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback to support achievement and attainment.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where all students are encouraged to succeed.
• Work collaboratively with the Mathematics department and wider school staff to share best practice and contribute to curriculum development.
• Support the wider life of the school through participation in enrichment activities, intervention sessions and school events where appropriate.

What we''re looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching Mathematics.
• Experience teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4 is desirable.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A commitment to raising achievement and inspiring students of all abilities.
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive department and wider school team.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
